My role
Senior Product Designer
USC is a manufacturer of industrial weighbridges for heavy goods vehicles, trucks, and rail.
Spirit Station
Designed a tablet/desktop application for weighbridge operators that integrates real-time sensor data into a dynamic 3D interface. This visual telemetry paired with intelligent auto-suggestions was used for quicker data entry and accelerated vehicle throughput.
Spirit Owner
Designed a mobile/desktop app for weighing station owners and staff not directly involved with operating the weighbridges. The app was designed to give owners and management staff access to weighing logs of all their weighbridges, provide notifications for any weighbridge hardware or software issues, and alert them about fraud attempts.
Spirit Driver
The Driver mobile app was a third piece of the ecosystem aimed at drivers of heavy goods vehicles.
The designs below are for the 1.0 version of the app. The focus was limited to the following three areas: help drivers find Spirit-enabled weighing stations, speed up their weighing process, and provide access to their digitally signed weighing records.
